Quality Assurance - Food Background

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor roasting, processing, and packaging operations to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Verify and document critical controls: temperatures, metal detection, allergen controls, sanitation, and package integrity.
- Conduct product checks, sanitation checks, and pre-operational inspections; confirm equipment readiness before start-up.
- Complete QA, HACCP, SQF, GMP, sanitation, and production records accurately and on time.
- Support traceability, product holds, corrective actions, label verification, lot coding, audits, and finished product compliance.
- Inspect incoming materials and warehouse conditions for GMP and allergen compliance.
- Communicate food safety or quality concerns promptly and assist with training and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in QA or food manufacturing preferred.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SQF, allergen controls, and food safety regulations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, clear documentation habits, basic Microsoft Office skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
