Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. You will be responsible for managing a range of obstetric and gynecological conditions, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Perform obstetric and gynecological procedures as needed
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices
• Stay updated on the latest developments in obstetrics and gynecology
• Educate patients on health and wellness practices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical program
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Strong background in obstetrics and gynecology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety
• Adept at handling medical emergencies and critical situations
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is a plus

Schedule: 5x 8-hour shifts per week

Beeper call available

Annual Volume: ~700 deliveries

Daily Volume: 20-25 patients

Team Structure: 2 MDs, 1 NP

Must be board-certified
