Construction Project Manager

Project Manager – Multifamily Construction Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead multifamily wood‑frame construction projects in the Virginia Beach area. Compensation Base salary $90k–$130k per year with annual bonus and vehicle allowance. Key Responsibilities Lead project teams and manage overall project success, focusing on budgeting, planning, scheduling and quality. Organize and participate in project meetings with staff, owners, architects and trade partners. Prepare contracts and change orders in a timely fashion. Prepare and communicate monthly variance cost/budget reports to the management team. Provide oversight for all phases of construction, ensuring contract documents are followed and work is on schedule and within budget. Foster strong partnership with owners to help the firm build on its repeat business. Assist in close‑out documentation. Candidate Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related discipline. Minimum three years’ experience in multifamily and commercial construction. Successfully managed multiple projects to completion with values ranging from $20M–$60M. Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
