The purpose of this position is to ensure accurate intake, processing, and tracking of offenders on community supervision by managing their records, coordinating their activities, and maintaining security and quality standards within the department’s information systems. JOB DUTIES Manages the intake and processing of offenders, including entering their information and sentencing details into the Offender Based Information System (OBIS). Reviews, interprets, and enters sentencing documents and monetary obligations into relevant databases, using specialized tools and manuals as needed. Verifies offender data, coordinates orientation programs, and requests criminal records to ensure accurate and complete records. Oversees offender community service work, monitors job assignments, and photographs offenders for the department’s website, ensuring quality standards are met. Maintains security procedures, conducts quality assurance audits, and assists with interstate transfers and monitoring offenders with out-of-state detainers.
