Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Pay Rate: $70/hour

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead nursing staff, coordinate unit operations, and promote safe, high-quality patient care. This opportunity is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical knowledge and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing unit operations and patient care activities.
Supervise, support, and guide nursing staff.
Ensure compliance with clinical standards and facility policies.
Monitor patient outcomes and promote quality improvement.
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Support staff development, scheduling, and performance reviews.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license accepted in Maine.
Previous nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to supervise staff and coordinate patient care effectively.
Knowledge of nursing standards and patient safety practices.
