Location: Lockport, LA
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced 1st Class Blaster/Painter for a shipyard environment. Responsibilities include abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and applying marine coatings to vessels and structural components while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Must-Haves

3+ years of shipyard, marine, or industrial blasting and painting experience
Experience with abrasive blasting and airless spray equipment
Knowledge of marine coatings, epoxies, zincs, and urethanes
Ability to read and follow coating specifications
Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors
Reliable transportation and attendance

Preferred

SSPC, NACE, or AMPP certifications
Forklift or aerial lift experience
Experience with new construction and repair projects
OSHA 10/30 certification
