Brush & Roll Painter (Day Shift)
Location: Lockport, LA | Full-Time
Summary
Responsible for painting metal surfaces on vessels (interior/exterior, components, equipment). Follows paint specs and applies coatings using brush, roll, or spray systems.
Must-Haves
- Industrial or marine painting experience
- Can read paint specs/instructions
- Experience with zinc, epoxy, enamel coatings
- Skilled in brush, roll, and basic spray application
Preferred
- Shipyard or vessel experience
- Airless/conventional spray experience
- Knowledge of surface prep standards and safety practices
Interview Questions
- Experience with brush/roll vs spray?
- What coatings have you used?
- How do you prep surfaces?
- Experience following paint specs?
- Safety practices in confined spaces?
- Availability for day shift in Lockport?
