Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana Special Education Certification
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and student growth
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, delivering specialized instruction tailored to each learner's needs
- Develop, review, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct instructional support to students inside and outside the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, addressing academic, behavioral, and developmental goals
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Foster a nurturing, positive classroom climate that values diversity and supports all abilities
- Serve as a resource for colleagues regarding strategies and interventions
Assignment Details:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Assignment runs from August 2026 through May 2027
- Support K-12 students as the primary Special Education Teacher in your assigned building
