About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Institute for the Advancement of Women and Children. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight to advance the Institute's mission of gender equity and empowerment. This includes program development, resource cultivation, and partnership building to ensure the personal, academic, and professional success of women and children. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the Institute's four Centers of Excellence, overseeing the design and evaluation of impact-driven programs, and securing external funding to support the Institute's initiatives. Applicants must have a Master's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years' leadership experience in higher education, nonprofit management, or a related field. The role requires a strong commitment to advancing the rights and opportunities of women and children, as well as a proven track record in fundraising and building strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of issues related to gender equity, leadership development, and community-based programming, and be adept at translating vision into actionable strategy. Experience in operational and financial management, as well as a background in working with diverse stakeholders and underrepresented populations, is essential. The Executive Director will also be responsible for the Institute's governance, institutional engagement, and ensuring continuous improvement through assessment and evaluation.
