RN - Quality Assurance

Description RN – Quality Assurance located at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center (primary location) and Providence Milwaukie Hospital (secondary location) with occasional travel to Providence Newberg Medical Center. Full‑time, day shift position (Monday‑Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.). No remote work is offered. Provides assessment, evaluation, and support for all quality initiatives within PHS Oregon. Manages initiatives to comply with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission (TJC), administrative and program personnel, and third‑party payors. Works closely with physician leadership, directors, and managers in developing and implementing quality efforts, including risk monitoring, reduction in clinical and non‑clinical systems, and coordination of multidisciplinary improvement projects. Acts as facilitator and mentor for department teams related to performance improvement, authorizes and makes decisions on recommendations and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate quality initiatives across the organization. Ensure compliance with CMS, TJC, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to develop and implement quality improvement strategies. Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and monitor risk reduction. Facilitate and mentor teams in performance improvement. Authorize decisions and recommend innovative solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Oregon Registered Nurse license (upon hire). Clinical experience with a variety of patient populations and care delivery models. Leadership experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with physicians, nursing staff, the public, and all levels of hospital management. 5 years of clinical experience. 5 years of hospital experience in progressively responsible positions involving multiple departments. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, Healthcare, or related field. Adult medical‑surgical experience.
