This work is performed under general supervision and using the tools and techniques of mechanical technology. Additional notes include a campus tour link: Hours and Location Hours: Full time (40 hours), Rotating Shift, Weekend work required Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, 600 N Wolfe St, Baltimore, MD 21287 Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program approved/accepted by local or state government. Johns Hopkins Hospital Certification 5 years related work experience. The full-time equivalent spent in an approved program may count toward the 5-year work experience requirement. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Knowledge of electrical techniques, codes, procedures and materials. Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards. Performs work within reasonable lengths of time as measured against trade, industry or engineered standards.
