Overview Wallace Electric is currently accepting applications for Industrial & Commercial "Electrician I" positions. This is a permanent opportunity where you can showcase your expertise and grow with a company that has been a trusted name in the industry since 1937. This is a full-time position in the Metro Atlanta area; no temp-to-hire or contract work. Majority of our Electrician I roles are located throughout the state of Georgia and within major metropolitan areas, like Atlanta. We are seeking highly skilled, accomplished, talented, and savvy Electricians with 5-7 years of solid electrical experience within the Commercial and/or Industrial sector(s). Responsibilities Installs, repairs, and performs maintenance on commercial and industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. Wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure as part of specialized tasks. Experience in wire pulling; knowledge of basic voltage colors and panel numbering. Conduit bending; install, bend, and run over 100 feet of conduit per day without assistance. Adheres to safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Proficient in electrical equipment installation; interprets drawings on work orders and mounts equipment to mirror drawings. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment. Communicates clearly with team members to convey instructions and ensure quality and safety; problem-solving and meticulous workmanship. Demonstrates strong physical capabilities: lifting, operating equipment, standing for extended periods, working in confined spaces, indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions (minimum 50 lbs). Qualifications 5 to 7 years of practical electrical experience in commercial and/or industrial settings, or a combination of practical experience and classroom instruction (vocational/technical school or apprenticeship such as IEC or similar). Strong understanding of safety procedures, codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Ability to read and interpret drawings and Mount electrical equipment accurately to match specifications. Experience with wiring, panel work, and conduit installation; ability to run and bend conduit as required. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
