MRI Technologist

12-hour shifts, working every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. This position requires a qualified professional passionate about providing high-quality imaging services in a teaching hospital environment. The MRI Tech will perform imaging procedures with a focus on patient care and safety while adhering to all facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures as per physician instructions.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.
• Document all relevant information accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT license is mandatory; MR advance licensure required.
• Experience with Phillips MRI systems is essential.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of MRI experience is necessary.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
