Opportunity to work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen our safety culture and improve hazard elimination for a world leader in manufacturing technology.**Role and Responsibilities****Role and Responsibilities**Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:* Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility.* Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others.* Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements.* Evaluation of task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements.* Document and track results to support safety program elements.* Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation.* Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements.* Conduct monthly meetings with safety sub-committee.* Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures.* Assist with the daily management of the tiered auditing program including closure of facility’s preventative and corrective action plans.**Skills and Qualifications****Skills and Qualifications**Here's what you'll need:* >3 years’ experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks required* Bachelor of Science or MS in Safety, IH, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field* Certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc. or ability to be certified required.* Familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel on site required.* Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and candor.* Ability to perform training to ensure proper H&S practices and awareness.* Keen understanding of best practices and implementation.* Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.* Preference for experience in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility.*The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
