Systems Engineer

Overview Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking a full‑time Systems Engineer. In this role you will define mission‑critical requirements, develop windows and user interfaces for military personnel user experience, and integrate new capabilities into the premier self‑defense system for the United States and allied Navies, the Aegis Combat System. Eligibility & Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a secret level U.S. DoD security clearance. The position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or closely related field. Minimum of 2 years professional experience. Experience performing analysis and code inspections in Java, C++, or Python to troubleshoot software issues. Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems. Experience in requirements development. Experience with Model‑Based Engineering tools and methodologies such as SysML, Rhapsody, or Cameo for software development. Experience with issue investigation and defect correction. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. Desired Skills Experience with Agile product development methodology. Experience with test automation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
