One of the few orthodontic centers in Maine that accepts Medicaid, JADOC shares the mission of Catholic Charities Maine to bring help and hope to Maine's most vulnerable.

About the Role

As the sole orthodontist in the combined dental/orthodontic practice, you will be responsible for diagnosis and treatment planning for the orthodontic patients in our center. In addition to our experienced practice manager and front-desk staff, who handle all paperwork and administrative tasks, you will have a team of well-trained assistants. A retired orthodontist is available to provide consulting/mentoring as needed, ensuring you have experienced support and continuity of care from day one.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary: $350,000-$400,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Pay Range Disclosure

In accordance with Maine law (26 M.R.S.A. * 622-A, effective July 29, 2026), the prospective range of pay for this position is $350,000-$400,000 . Actual compensation depends on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
• Graduate of a certified Orthodontic & Dentofacial Orthopedics program, with certification or a Master's degree in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics
• Active license to practice dentistry in the State of Maine (or eligibility to obtain one)
