The position is primarily responsible for supporting the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, documentation, and control of workplace health hazards. The role will coordinate with client project management and EHS personnel; Savannah River Site industrial-hygiene, safety, engineering, quality, environmental, and operations organizations; DOE/NNSA representatives; field supervision; craft personnel; subcontractors; vendors; analytical laboratories; occupational medicine; emergency-response organizations; and radiological-control personnel.Work will be performed at authorized facilities, buildings, construction areas, or project locations within the Savannah River Site. The final task order or work authorization will establish the specific location, technical scope, work boundaries, hazards, schedule, deliverables, and reporting relationships.The position requires frequent walking and standing, climbing stairs and ladders, navigating uneven surfaces, entering active or restricted work areas, and wearing required PPE.
