Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Acute Care and Outpatient

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a hybrid position involving both inpatient and outpatient care. The role primarily focuses on working with adults, typically managing 1-3 outpatient cases per day alongside acute hospital care. The SLP will be responsible for performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
• Provide therapy to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Must hold a valid state license (CA) and certifications including BLS and CCC-SLP.
• Must be able to work independently with a proven track record in both acute care and outpatient settings.
