Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to support a high-volume oncology setting. This role involves independently delivering radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning in accordance with physician prescriptions.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a comprehensive cancer center environment with a consistent patient throughput.

Clinical Responsibilities
Perform radiation therapy treatments and simulations as prescribed
Execute treatment planning and assist in fabrication of treatment aids
Ensure accurate patient positioning and setup for all treatment sites
Monitor patient response and adjust care based on clinical assessment
Maintain precise and timely documentation in EMR
Collaborate with oncology team to ensure continuity of care
Equipment & Modalities
Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator (required proficiency)
ARIA EMR and EPIC systems
Treatment modalities include:
3D Conformal Therapy
IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy)
SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
Electron therapy
Patient Volume
Expected to treat approximately 25–30 patients per day
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
Active State Radiologic Technologist License (must be active by start date)
BLS Certification required
Experience in high-volume oncology settings preferred
Additional Details
EMR: EPIC
Holiday and weekend coverage required
No on-call requirement
Travelers must arrive prior to start date for pre-employment health clearance
