Maintenance Technician

Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at the Manitowoc, WI facility. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on foundry equipment, machinery, and systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting work performed. The Maintenance Technician will carry out preventive maintenance schedules, respond to equipment failures, and coordinate with production staff to prioritize work. The role also involves following safety procedures, using appropriate tools and PPE, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in equipment reliability and plant performance. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance skills to support foundry machinery and production systems. Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance skills to execute scheduled service and timely corrective work. Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in metal casting or heavy industry. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders. Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to follow all plant safety and environmental procedures. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
