Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked as part of this process.Symrise – always inspiring more…Your roleThe Talent Management Manager – North America ensures the effective deployment, execution, and continuous improvement of Symrise Talent Management and Learning practices across the North America region.The role exists to translate global Talent Management frameworks into meaningful regional actions that strengthen workforce capabilities, improve talent readiness, and support business growth.It ensures that Performance, Succession, Development, and Learning processes are consistently applied across all segments and functions, while adapting to the North American business context.By partnering with HR Business Partners, regional leaders, and global TM team, the role contributes to building a strong leadership pipeline, enhancing employee experience, and enabling the successful execution of Symrise’s strategy in the regionScope: Regional scope covering US & Canada, across all segments and functions. Responsible for translating global Talent Management into effective regional execution.Accountability: End-to-end ownership of TM processes in North America; capability development; regional learning portfolio; talent data quality; adoption of TM tools; alignment with global frameworks.Operating Model: Matrix role collaborating with NA HR leadership, HRBPs, Global TM, and business stakeholders; strong influence across teams without direct authority.Business Impact: Develops workforce capabilities, strengthens talent readiness and leadership pipeline, improves learning ROI, enhances performance and employee experience, and supports NA business strategy.Talent Management (Regional)Deploy global TM tools and cycles across North AmericaEnsure consistent TM practices with HRBPs and local HRAdapt and share regional toolkits and communicationsTalent Reviews & SuccessionRun NA talent review and succession planning calendarConsolidate regional talent data for leadershipSupport calibration of key talent and critical rolesPerformance ManagementDrive regional goal‑setting and year‑end cyclesTrain HRBPs/managers on goals, conversations, evaluationsProvide tools and guidance to reinforce performance cultureLearning & Capability DevelopmentIdentify regional capability gaps and prioritiesDeploy learning aligned to global frameworksAct as NA liaison to Symrise UniversityEnsure alignment with global governance and toolsFacilitate workshops and development programsData & InsightsDrive adoption of Workday Talent & LearningMaintain data accuracy and quality reviewsProduce dashboards and insights for TM cyclesDE&I, Engagement & CultureEmbed DE&I across TM and LearningSupport initiatives that strengthen leadership and cultureAbout you Education:Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related field.Professional Experience:8-10 years in HR with strong focus on TM & L&DExperience in multinational matrix environment.Strong TM cycle execution experience.Facilitation experience.Workday knowledge preferred.Technical skills : Talent Management expertise : performance, succession, talent review, development planning.HR system: Workday Talent & Learning (or equivalent) – data quality, reporting, dashboards.Trainingdesign & facilitation: creation of training materials, managers & HR training deliveryOur offerBecome part of our open and transparent culture. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
