Sales Support Specialist

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join the team in Omaha, NE. This position supports Labcorp’s Mid‑America Division and works closely with the Outside Sales Representative Team to ensure that client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. The role requires the candidate to reside in Omaha, NE near a client’s facility. Responsibilities Act as a liaison between physician offices, Sales Representatives, and other internal laboratory departments. Serve as the point person for new account requests, pricing requests, billing inquiries, and connectivity needs. Participate in campaigns and special projects as needed. Structure and problem‑solve issues in a rapidly changing environment. Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution. Work in multiple databases to research complex issues, answer questions, and assist in finding a resolution. Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance. Ensure compliance with company policies (redraws) and laboratory procedures. Job Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. One year or more of related business experience and relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree. One or more years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting. One or more years of experience with patient‑facing administrative tasks, including patient check‑in. Additional Job Standards Previous experience in a customer service role; demonstrates courtesy and a customer‑focused approach. Proven ability to capture information, identify issues, and determine when escalation is appropriate. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen and respond thoughtfully. Prior experience in a healthcare environment, such as a physician’s office, laboratory, or hospital setting. In‑depth knowledge of Labcorp processes and systems (e.g., LCLS, LCBS, Salesforce, eAssist). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Working understanding of operational processes across various areas of the organization, including lab, branch, and billing. Ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Must reside in Omaha, NE near a client’s facility.
