Simonette is an all-day restaurant and bar inside Palihotel Culver City, blending French elegance with the cheerful friendliness of an American caf. Located in the heart of Downtown Culver City, it's an homage to the roadside food halls of southern France shared mussels and a beer at lunch, a hamburger with Dijon and pomme frites, or beef bourguignon and ratatouille with two martinis at night. Utilitarian, unpretentious, and totally chic.

The Restaurant Manager is the driving force behind daily operations at Simonette leading the front-of-house team, managing inventory, and making sure every guest has a delightful, on-brand experience. You'll balance hands-on floor presence with the administrative work that keeps the restaurant running smoothly.

Tasks at hand:

• Own the guest experience on the floor create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that turns first-time guests into regulars.
• Oversee all Food & Beverage operations to maximize revenue, profits, and guest satisfaction.
• Interview, train, schedule, and manage the full front- and back-of-house team.
• Maintain inventory, ordering, and cost-control systems, partnering with the Corporate F&B team on strategy and promotions.
• Execute opening and closing duties and oversee on-site events and special programming.
• Partner with the Corporate Director of Restaurants on menu changes based on guest feedback.
• Manage day-to-day administrative operations and departmental budget, developing cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures.
• Communicate across departments to ensure service standards and guest expectations are consistently met.

What we are looking for:

Required:

• 2+ years experience in an restaurant leadership role. Boutique hotel restaurant and banquet experience a plus.
• Comfortable with MS Office, Google Apps, and other organizational tools.
• Clear communication, strong judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Physical:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays and weekends; ability to carry up to 40 lbs and walk, stand, and bend continuously.
