Qualifications: Five years of recent, skilled (verifiable) Fire/EMS experience Valid State of Ohio Firefighter II certification Valid State of Ohio Fire Instructor certification Valid State of Ohio Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification Valid State of Ohio EMS Instructor certification Valid American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification (preferred); Teaching experience is desired Willingness to work with students and colleagues as a team member Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and technology skills History of good job attendance Valid Licensure/Permit by the Ohio Department of Education as an Adult Education Instructor (or be willing to obtain credential) Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
