Sterile Processing TechThis position involves working night shifts from Sunday through Thursday. The shift hours are from 22:00 to 06:30. The role requires experience in handling an average daily tray volume of 700. There are a total of 72 operating rooms. First-time travelers will be considered if they have at least 2 years of trauma experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and preparing surgical instruments. CensiTrac instrument tracking experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in using Belimed washers and sterilizers. Floating within the facility may be required based on operational needs. Certification requirements include CBSPD or CRCST. No on-call shifts will be necessary for this role. The facility is a short-term acute care teaching facility with a total of 1259 staffed beds. The surgical services offered include trauma, cardiac, neuro, ortho, ENT, vascular, transplant, and robotics. Overtime opportunities may be available, as well as availability to work on holidays. Attendance is crucial, and excessive absences or tardies will be reviewed. The use of earbuds or cellphones during shifts is not allowed.
