Packaging Helper

Aleading designer and manufacturer of low voltage electronics and power supplies. Job Description Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling and sorting operations. Assemble/ line/ pad packaging with appropriate packaging materials. Examine and inspect materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met and products are available and prepared for transport. Other work-related tasks as deemed necessary by management. Qualifications Physical Requirements: Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting lifting, pushing, pulling andmoving items. Frequently requires the ability to lift and move heavy (up to 50lbs.) and bulky items without assistance. Standing for long periods of time. Additional Information Work environment: Work is conducted in an indoor production environment; the employee is not exposed to any outside environmental conditions. Status: Full time / regular (40 hours per week) Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm) Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $17.50-$18.00 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
