Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Toledo, OHPay: Starting at $41.34/hour plus shift differentialAnnual general wage increaseWeekly pay$5,000 Sign-On BonusShift: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM –10:30 PMStandard schedule: 12 days on / 2 days off, with 12-hour shifts on weekendsOvertime and weekend work is requiredShift Differential: 8-hour weekday shifts: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr12-hour weekend shifts: Day shift +$1.00/hr; Night shift +$1.50/hrWhat We Offer:Competitive health, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and 13 paid holidays, including 10 guaranteed days offAnnual performance bonus up to 3%Fitness & vitamin reimbursement programBattery purchase program (available after probationary period; up to two batteries per calendar year at no cost; additional batteries at reduced cost)Employee referral bonus program (available after probationary period)Job Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systemsDiagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments to minimize downtimeWork with 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits, PLC hardware, ladder logic, and motor controls (VFDs, soft starts)Operate shop tools such as lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, and power saws as neededPerform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliabilityRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsAdhere to safety protocols including PPE requirements and LOTO proceduresQualifications:Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong mechanical and electrical repair skillsExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (480v), and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing settingAbility to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work ordersPLC troubleshooting experience preferred, but not requiredCommitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvementAbout the Plant:The Toledo, Ohio facility has been in operation since 1981 and is the largest Clarios manufacturing plant, employing more than 700 team members.
