As a contract manufacturer organization (CMO), we collaborate with innovators from some of the worlds most successful brands./ppThe Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. This role requires working independently and as part of a team to safely treat municipal or industrial wastewater./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliOperates and maintains pumps, valves, motors, blowers, filters, and chemical feed equipment./liliMonitors Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and performs regular inspections to ensure proper plant function./liliCollects and analyzes water and wastewater samples; records test results and adjusts processes accordingly./liliMaintains accurate logs, reports, and records of plant performance and maintenance activities./liliPerforms preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems./liliEnsures compliances with permit requirements National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Title 22, etc.)./liliFollows all safety protocols and procedures in accordance with Cal/OSHA standards./liliParticipates in training and certification programs to maintain professional credentials./li/ulpQualifications/Education/Experience:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED preferred./liliValid California Drivers License (Class C) required./lili13 years of experience in wastewater plant operation required/liliGrade I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate issued by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) required. Grade II - III or higher certification preferred/liliBasic knowledge of SCADA systems and computerized maintenance software./liliMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills./li/ulpWork Environment:/ppThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
