Associate AccountantSalary Range: $61,000 - $76,000The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). This position is accountable for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. The successful candidate is an energetic, self-starter with a solid work ethic, and a growth mindset.Essential FunctionsPrepare and post journal entries to general ledger with supporting documentation.Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.Perform cash application, collections, and dispute resolution.Complete monthly forecasting/budget process for assigned scope.Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes and procedures.Handle ad hoc duties and projects as required.QualificationsMinimum Required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.1+ years of previous accounting experience or internship.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Proven organizational, prioritization, and time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.Preferred:CPA or in the process of obtaining a CPAExperience with SAP, Blackline, and Esker systems.Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThe work environment characteristics are those consistent with a standard office environment. Positions in this class typically require typing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Schedule RequirementsThis position is expected to work within core business hours and occasionally requires participation in after-hours work with domestic and international stakeholders.
