About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead the global risk function and play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the company's risk management strategy. The CRO will be responsible for owning and building the enterprise risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and governance structures. This role demands a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in risk leadership, particularly within financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in risk management, a deep understanding of regulatory expectations, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-scaling, high-ambiguity environment. The CRO will also be tasked with leading risk engagement with regulators, designing risk systems, and building a high-performing global risk team. Applicants for the CRO position at the company should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to balance innovation with appropriate risk tolerance and to challenge and partner with senior stakeholders. The role requires a strong technical competency across various risk domains, including market, credit, liquidity, operational, and technology risk.
