About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its senior living community with a contemporary, holistic approach that prioritizes an authentic experience for residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including service delivery, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, staffing, and sales. This role demands a leader who can maintain resident satisfaction, ensure full occupancy, and provide the overall leadership necessary to enrich the lives of all elderly residents. The Executive Director will also be the face of the community, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with residents' families, the local community, and the staff. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a North Carolina assisted living administrator certification or the ability to acquire it within 6 months of hire, along with a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of executive management experience in senior living, health care, or the hospitality industry. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a passion for working with seniors are essential. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in team management, including hiring, coaching, and performance management, and the ability to inspire staff to uphold the company's mission and values. The ideal Executive Director will have an innate urgency around leadership and a dedication to creating a happy, fun, and caring environment for seniors.
