Green Bay Area, WI | Night Shift: 5:00 PM5:00 AM | 2-2-3 Schedule
Can you find the cause of an equipment failure and make the repair? Put your troubleshooting and welding skills to work with a growing food manufacturer.
gpac is partnering with a confidential food manufacturer seeking three Maintenance Technicians to join its expanding team. This hands-on role offers varied equipment, a predictable schedule published in advance, and opportunities to grow your technical skills.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and controls; programming is not required.
- Perform welding repairs as needed.
- Maintain hydraulic systems, automated machinery, and packaging equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and safely restore production.
- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Follow food safety, GMP, lockout/tagout, and plant safety procedures.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance experience OR 5+ years of other manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Welding skills required.
- Experience with hydraulics and automated production equipment.
- The ability to identify root causes and make effective repairs.
- Availability to work 5:00 PM5:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Experience with boilers, HVAC, CIP systems, wastewater, spiral freezers, flow wrappers or packaging equipment is a plus.
