About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to play a pivotal role in driving the growth strategy for non-semiconductor verticals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the evolution of sales capability development, with a focus on strengthening prospecting effectiveness, sales skills, and business development best practices. This role involves partnering with the Chief Commercial Officer and requires a proven track record in developing and executing both organic and inorganic sales strategies, strategic planning, competitive intelligence, M&A, and the development of integrated customer roadmaps. The VP will also be tasked with leading and developing the U.S. business development team, creating a culture of accountability and high performance, and ensuring the team is equipped to meet the demands of new customer acquisition and revenue growth. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced business degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' of progressive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead high-performing business development teams. Experience in B2B industries such as logistics, supply chain, industrial services, manufacturing, or technology is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to enter new markets and expand commercial presence. The role also requires advanced proficiency in CRM and sales management tools, as well as the ability to leverage data and technology for revenue growth and strategic decision-making. The VP will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time and must be adept at building and maintaining executive-level relationships with customers.
