Required Skills & Experience

· PowerShell scripting for automation, log collection, system configuration, and test execution.\n· PC Hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis.\n\t· PC System BIOS updates, troubleshooting\n· WinPE, imaging, and deployment experience.\n    Working knowledge, but at a minimum, an understanding of the image and deployment tools below:\n\t\t\to WDT (Windows Download Tools)\n\t\t\to ImageX/DISM\n\t\t\to Ghost\n\t\t\to CloneZilla\n\t\t\to SCCM\n· Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, PXE, TCP/IP).\n· Experience with test execution, failure analysis, and issue reproduction.\n· Strong documentation and communication skills\n\t\t\to Technical engineering docs\n\t\t\t\t\t§ Architectural diagram flows\n\t\t\t\t\t§ SOPs\n\t\t\t\t\t§ Whitepapers\n\t\t\t\t\t§ Instructional\n\t· Windows feature/working knowledge

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support hardware testing, imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting activities within a fast-paced lab environment. This role will be responsible for configuring systems, executing test plans, investigating failures, maintaining lab documentation, and supporting hardware and software validation efforts across Windows-based platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\n•\tPerform PC hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on desktops, laptops, and related equipment.\n•\tExecute and automate testing activities using PowerShell scripting for system configuration, log collection, deployment, and test execution.\n•\tSupport BIOS updates, firmware validation, and troubleshooting efforts across various hardware platforms.\n•\tBuild, image, deploy, and maintain test systems using industry-standard imaging and deployment tools.\n•\tConduct failure analysis, reproduce reported issues, and document findings for engineering teams.\n•\tAssist with system setup, configuration, and maintenance within a lab environment.\n•\tDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), architectural diagrams, whitepapers, and instructional guides.\n•\tSupport Windows operating system testing, validation, and feature-level troubleshooting.\n•\tCollaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate execution of test plans and validation processes.
