Restaurant Manager – New Restaurant Opening
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

A nationally recognized, high-volume steakhouse brand is opening a brand-new location in Poughkeepsie, NY and is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to help build a winning team from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in launching a new restaurant while growing your career with an industry-leading organization known for developing strong leaders and delivering exceptional guest experiences. What You'll Do
Lead daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Drive guest satisfaction by ensuring consistent service, food quality, and hospitality standards.
Monitor labor, food, beverage, and operating costs while maximizing profitability.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
Support inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and financial reporting.
Partner with the management team to achieve sales goals, improve performance metrics, and build long-term success.
Lead by example during high-volume service periods while motivating the team to exceed expectations.
Qualifications
2+ years of restaurant management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams.
Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including labor management, food cost, and P&L performance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for delivering outstanding hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
