Island View Dental is seeking an experienced part time office manage/ financial and treatment coordinator to help lead and grow our small airway, sleep and TMJ focused practoce. This position plays a crucial role in managing daily operations of a small dental practice with 1-5 staff. This position involves direct patient interaction and ensures smooth appointment scheduling, billing, insurance coordination, and treatment planning while maintaining strong communication with patients and staff. Expertise in Open Dental software and financial management is essential to support the practice's administrative and clinical needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Manage patient billing and insurance coordination
• Coordinate treatment planning and financial arrangements
• Oversee office administration and record keeping
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding their care and financial options
• Coordinate staff activities to maintain smooth operations
• Manage office inventory and supplies

 

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in dental office management

 

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with Open Dental office software
• Experience with insurance claims processing
• Ability to generate financial reports
• Strong customer service and treatment coordination skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective time management and team leadership
