Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient requirements and devise bespoke therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living tasks
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to deliver holistic patient-centered care
- Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapy practices that encourage continued progress outside the clinical setting
- Track Progress and Optimize Treatment: Monitor patient development and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Continuous education or post-graduate certification is encouraged and supported
Certifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
