Hopkinton Public School District Hopkinton High School – Hopkinton, Massachusetts Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Full‑Time (1.0) for the 2026‑2027 school year. Salary per collective bargaining agreement, commensurate with experience (range $23.51‑$24.93 per hour). More than one position may be filled from this vacancy announcement. Responsibilities Provide social‑emotional, behavioral, and instructional support to all students in all settings. Assist with classroom and student support based on Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans. Monitor student behavior as indicated on IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). Collaborate with specialists and classroom teachers to deliver specialized instruction, curriculum modification, and classroom accommodations. Prepare lesson and related materials as needed. Observe and record academic, behavioral, and social data to measure progress. Recognize when teaching/learning and behavioral strategies are not successful and seek guidance to adapt assistance. Provide verbal support, prompting, redirection, and modeling to help students access curriculum activities. Assist students with personal care as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or successful completion of the ParaPro exam. Clear and effective oral and written communication skills with children and adults. Experience and willingness to provide direct assistance to students in managing personal care to improve daily life skills. Preferred: Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in a related field. Other qualifications deemed appropriate by the superintendent. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $23.51 to $24.93 per hour, as outlined by the collective bargaining agreement.
