Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full-TimeFinancial Services Specialist for our Seaside, OR location with the need attimes to support our locations in Astoria, OR and Warrenton, OR.

Wage Range: $20.78 - $32.47

* The range above allows our employees roomfor growth through annual merit and other pay increases based on performance. The target pay range for this position is typically within the first halfof the range. Compensation decisions are determined using factors such asrelevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individualqualifications.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Receive and assist members inperson, online, or on the telephone. Provide thorough Credit Union informationand encourage members to use the many other services of the Credit Union. Openall types of new accounts and cross sell basic Credit Union services to newprospects and existing members in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.Receive and submit loan application information for members and sign loandocuments.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Determine prospective members'qualifications for membership based on current field of membership.
• Transfer accounts for members and makeappropriate referrals to cross sell a variety of Credit Union services.
• Open new share, checking, IRA, andcertificate accounts, and maintain existing and closed accounts. Carry throughrelated duties and activities according to Credit Union policies andprocedures.
• Need to communicate professionally andeffectively to provide superior member service.
• Obtain proper documentation of directdeposits and related duties.
• Process and maintain safety deposit boxrentals, billing, and other related duties when applicable.
• Answer a variety of member inquiries andmaintain a good working knowledge of Credit Union services.
• Submit loan application information formembers to Consumer Lending.
• Complete member loan signings in accordancewith Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Perform all cash handler functions at peakperiods in the service center.
• Perform vault duties for the service centeras needed.
• Provide exceptional member service.
• Must maintain accuracy and fix identifiedmistakes in a timely manner.
• Must follow Credit Union policies andprocedures as outlined for Loans, Member Services, Tellers, the Employee Guide,and Security, ensuring all dual control and internal controls are followedwithin their area of responsibility.
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, anduse initiative while effectively adapting to change.
• Provide assistance to service centerpersonnel in the absence or unavailability of the manager or supervisor,including approvals and overrides.
• Open and close service center as needed.
• Duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Position Knowledge - Knowledge, skill, andmental development equivalent to completion of high school is required. Financial or credit union experience helpfulbut not required.
• Problem Solving - The individual identifiesand resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes informationskillfully.
• Interpersonal Skills - The individualmaintains confidentiality, remains open to the ideas of others, and exhibitswillingness to try new things.
• Oral Communication - The individual speaksclearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. The individualmaintains on-going communication with the Department Manager concerningactivities of the department as well as needs or problems and keeps theminformed of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes,and other important information.
• Written Communication - The individual editswork for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and is ableto read and interpret written information.
• Planning/Organizing - The individualprioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and developsrealistic action plans.
• Quality Control - The individualdemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
• Dependability - The individual isconsistently at work and on time (except for those cases protected by law whichare outlined in the Employee Guide), follows instructions, responds toManagement direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
• Observes Policies/Procedures - Theindividual observes Credit Union policy and applicable Standard OperatingProcedures, as well as those in the Employee Guide.
• Image - The individual must display apositive and professional image.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Possess high school diplomaor equivalent

Must be bondable

Physical Requirements -Ability to lift 20 pounds and carry a cash drawer. Ability to stand forextended periods as required.
