Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality radiologic imaging services to patients under the supervision of healthcare providers. Ensure accurate procedures and maintain safety protocols throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following established protocols.
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records of imaging procedures.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance are properly documented.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification and registration as a Radiology Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Possess a valid radiologic technologist license from the NYSDOH.
• Have a minimum of one (1) year of general radiographer experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating radiologic equipment safely.
• Maintain BLS certification (preferred).
