Registered Respiratory Therapist – Critical Care
Schedule - Weekends: Every other weekend - Call: None
Assignment Details - Contract Length: Not specified - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of critical care experience - Community hospital experience required - Trauma Level I experience preferred - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, PALS, NRP - GA state RN license (GA or Compact required at submission) - Charting system: Epic
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide advanced airway management, including intubation and ventilation support.
Manage arterial line insertion and care.
Oversee mechanical ventilation management and weaning processes.
Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning and maintenance.
Interpret arterial blood gases and initiate appropriate interventions.
Support bronchoscopy procedures and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Compliance / Notes - Must complete core onboarding items within 48 hours of contract signing. - All compliance documents due by Tuesday prior to start. - Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract.
