Are you looking for a per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position at an outpatient center in Erie, PA? As a per diem clinician at Concentra, you will be a valued member of our patient care team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities include:

• Examining patients, compiling patient medical data and results of examination.
• Administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
• Compiling patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
• Interpreting diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Performing therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
• Instructing and counseling patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
• Developing and implementing patient management plans, recording progress notes, and assisting in provision of continuity of care.
• Providing excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
• Dedicated to exceeding customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs.
• Ensuring accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.
• Ensuring accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork.
• Providing an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.

Qualifications include:

• Current licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania.
• Current unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
• Unrestricted DEA license for Pennsylvania.
• DOT/FMCSA certification – active or willing to get during credentialing.
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
