The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the customer's expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC projects from award through completion and closeout.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate equipment and material procurement to ensure products arrive according to project schedules.
• Work closely with customers, contractors, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, and internal teams throughout the project.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project status, schedules, changes, and concerns.
• Monitor project costs, labor, materials, and overall financial performance to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Identify potential project risks, delays, or issues and proactively develop solutions.
• Coordinate and participate in project kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and jobsite meetings as needed.
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
• Ensure field teams have the information, materials, and equipment necessary to complete work efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project scope changes and ensure appropriate documentation and approvals are obtained.
• Maintain accurate and organized project files and records.
• Assist with project billing, forecasting, and cost tracking as needed.
• Ensure projects comply with company standards, customer requirements, applicable codes, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate project closeout, including punch-list items, documentation, warranties, and customer turnover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, contractors, and other project partners.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience within the HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction, or related industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and construction processes.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to changing project conditions.
• Customer-focused with the ability to develop strong professional relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with project management, estimating, or construction management software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites as needed.
