Responsibilities Use the nursing process to assess, re‑assess, develop plans of care, implement and evaluate appropriate patient care interventions. Supervise and coordinate licensed and non‑licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned. Provide guidance and mentorship to non‑licensed personnel and students. Report to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Assist with physical restraint of patients and utilize the identified Behavior Management Technique System (as required for mental health staff). This position may be required to float to other units, participate in on‑call status, and meet population‑specific competencies. Potential exposure to infections, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals; all staff must follow standard precautions. Qualifications Required Qualifications Current RN licensure in Oklahoma or a valid multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) license. BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire (hospice only: CPR in lieu of BLS). Other certifications and competencies based on service‑line skill. Effective verbal and written communication in English. Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and dependable transportation; proof of current automobile liability insurance. For hospice and employee health, proof of a current license in the state of employment; for mental health, a current Oklahoma state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
