Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a local contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care according to established care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions accurately and safely.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident health status and changes in condition.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Promote resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license required.
• PCC (PointClickCare) training required.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
