Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security‑related policies within a technology and communications location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and support security-related operations. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unauthorized activity, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance-related issues according to site guidelines. Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and relaying information to supervisors and/or first responders. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
