Student Employment: Proofreading Assistant - AY 26/27

Proofreading Assistant

Proofread print and digital materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to AP Style and university editorial guidelines. Review and markup designer-produced files using Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InCopy. Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and branding across university collateral. Collaborate with designers and writers to support accurate, polished final deliverables. Assist with edits and revisions on MarCom projects as needed.

Strong command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation. Familiarity with AP Style. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InCopy preferred; training available for the right candidate. Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Wrike a plus. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Must be enrolled and in good academic standing.

Up to 15 hours per week, scheduled Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (standard business hours)
