As a Career Transition Services (CTS) Specialist, you'll provide the transitional support and placement services that lead students to full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training, turning hard-earned skills into real, lasting opportunity. What You'll Do Guide Students Through Career Transition Provide students with comprehensive, individualized case management to identify and remediate transitional barriers. Establish supportive, mentoring relationships during the Career Transition Phase, provide personalized career counseling, evaluate student performance, and develop, monitor, and update student transition plans to ensure successful outcomes. Build Employer & Community Connections Conduct effective community job development activities with key business and community leaders. Develop Center-beneficial business and community linkages that connect students with quality, industry-relevant employment opportunities, working cooperatively with Career Technical Training and Career Transition staff. Drive Placement & Performance Support educational and related placement goals for assigned students and help ensure the Contract meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals. Produce thorough, timely, and accurate work while maintaining strong attendance, accountability, and productivity standards. Model Standards & Collaborate Follow all integrity guidelines and ensure no manipulation of student data. Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH, and provide high-quality supervision that positively influences student behavior with respect and accountability. Communicate clearly, resolve problems with sound judgment, partner with staff across all departments, and accept direction from the Center Director, Duty Officer, or Shift Manager, including other duties as assigned.
