ViaQuest is a leading provider of behavioral health services delivering clinical care through a network of clinicians across hundreds of locations. The company partners with skilled nursing facilities to provide on‑site behavioral health services and bill Medicare and Medicaid directly on behalf of the clinicians it places. The Opportunity ViaQuest is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance organization for its behavioral health division. The role involves building and leading the finance infrastructure to support a $100 million and growing healthcare services platform. Key Responsibilities Finance Organization & Infrastructure Build, lead, and develop the finance team across accounting, FP&A, and revenue cycle management Establish robust controls, financial policies, and reporting processes Drive disciplined monthly close; deliver accurate, timely GAAP financials Assess and restructure the team to meet business demands Strategic Financial Leadership Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team Deliver data‑driven insights for decision‑making and growth planning Support evaluation of new market expansion and growth initiatives Create actionable dashboards and performance metrics for operational leaders Capital Structure & Governance Manage lender relationships, covenant compliance, and financial reporting Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance Oversee timely and accurate financials for internal/external stakeholders Operational Partnership Collaborate with operations to connect financials to clinical and service outcomes Drive margin improvement, transparency, and operational efficiency Provide financial education, accountability tools, and performance analysis to operational leaders Transaction Readiness & Value Creation Prepare the finance function for capital events (recapitalizations, strategic transactions) Lead due diligence, financial modeling, and data room readiness Ensure business readiness for scrutiny by lenders, buyers, and auditors Candidate Profile Experience 10+ years of progressive financial leadership in healthcare services or complex multi‑site organizations Prior CFO title required at a healthcare services or multi‑site organization with P&L ownership over $75 million+ Proven experience building or rebuilding finance functions (team restructuring, controls, processes) Leadership & Competencies Builder mentality: energized by creating from scratch Operator mindset: balance strategic vision and hands‑on execution Direct communicator who simplifies complexity Resilient under pressure; makes tough decisions with imperfect info Collaborative while maintaining financial discipline High integrity, honesty, and strength to deliver tough messages Location & Travel Preferred: Columbus, Ohio (flexibility within Ohio for exceptional candidates) Significant onsite presence expected in the first 3–6 months Long‑term: ~50% presence in Columbus Compensation Competitive executive compensation: base salary, annual bonus (25–50% of base), and long‑term incentive tied to value creation Package will be calibrated to attract the right leader How To Apply Submit a resume All inquiries will be treated confidentially #J-18808-Ljbffr Council Capital
