Key Responsibilities Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing our state‑of‑the‑art monitoring systems. Identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters. Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies. Coordinate effectively with relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations. Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies. Provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement. Maintain a high level of analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with a high attention to detail. Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a high‑pressure environment. Adhere to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes. Additional Requirements Ability to carry or lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach. Work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. May require travel up to 25% of the time. May require a deemed export control license for compliance. Subject to Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety‑sensitive functions as defined by the FAA. Basic Qualifications FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of weather patterns for flight operations. Experience interpreting flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms. Experience with Federal Aviation Administration regulations or similar technical platforms. Experience working with computer systems and troubleshooting. Can work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including working outside in outdoor temperatures and refrigerated environments. Can demonstrate a record of good attendance and the ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols. Can decode METAR readings, interpret weather conditions that may affect operations, and recommend appropriate actions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aviation, drone operations, or a similar real‑time monitoring role. Experience with technical or engineering record‑keeping methods and tools. Experience with risk assessment and mitigation. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent decision‑making capabilities under pressure. USA, TX, WOODWAY – $35.00 – $35.00 USD hourly The starting pay for this position includes the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential, which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
